The late nineties weren't Pollack's greatest period directorial-wise, however, his performance in this was very solid. The opening 20/30 minutes were actually really good but then it starts getting dull and never stops. It's a shame because it has a good concept and could've been a great romance if ... played correctly. Also why'd they give Ford a piercing for this one? 2/5
