Out Cold is one of those movies that is smarter than it lets on. It very subtly incorporates the story beats from Casablanca into its plot structure and keeps the laughs coming with witty dialog and some shocking sight gags. At its core it is a statement on gentrification and how it can ruin the ver ... y thing it is trying to preserve. But really it is just a fun movie to enjoy if you are a fan of movies from the early 2000's. There are some dated references, gross out humor, and other shenanigans, but it is also a hilarious movie you can get some great one liner's from if that is your thing.
