Details

Christopher Crumpet has an imaginary elephant for a playmate. Christopher's father begins to see the elephant. Mr. Crumpet reveals this to his co-worker, Mr. Bilgewater, who quickly plays office politics by telling their boss that Mr. Crumpet is crazy. The boss has recently awarded Crumpet a junior partnership, which Bilgewater thought he had deserved. The boss visits the Crumpet home, and finds that Crumper does indeed see his son's imaginary playmate. But instead of taking the junior partnership away from Crumpet, he makes him a full partner. The boss himself has an imaginary hyena.

When the dog pins exasperated dad to the carpet for the latest time, he tells son "Christopher" to get shot of it and to play with his imaginary pal "Webster" instead. Turns out that this magical pal is an elephant and that, well maybe he's not so conjured up in the boy's imagination after all. Nutt ... y as peanut brittle? Well let's wait and see as his dad looks like he's up for promotion and his colleague is trying to paint him as bonkers. Will boss "Mr. Tailgate" think this is madness, or maybe he might just have the last laugh? It's a simply drawn animation with some light-heartedness that plays with the family and workplace dynamics quite entertainingly and I enjoyed it.
