Peter Sellers is the voice of the pipe smoking, slightly professorial, father who is nervously preparing for the conversation, Yep - you know. The one when you explain just how sex works to your child who's already been doing it for ages? Anyway, he huffs and he puffs then admits the child to his st ... udy, settles down in his armchair and waffles on for three minutes about just about everything except who does what with what to whom in the heat of passion. His chatter goes off on tangent after tangent before the doorbell announces the arrival of his son's date, and we are all put out of our embarrassing misery. The last few frames then really put it all in perspective and with the narration funny and ridiculous, too, we have an enjoyable 5 minutes reflecting excruciating pain without a blow being struck!
