Richard Arlen and Chester Morris play two men who have been rivals at just about everything all their lives. When they start basic training for their military service - alongside "Sandy" (Jimmy Lydon) who has a sister "Peggy" (Amelita Ward) - they have even more to squabble about. Yep, that's the he ... ight of the plot... It features some interesting aerial photography and the last few scenes do, finally, inject a little action, but otherwise it's a rather dull, run-of-the mill war time morale booster with some lightly comedic dialogue before a silver-star style of ending. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing special, either.
