| When police inspector Gerald Blake wants to infiltrate a London stolen-goods gang, he does a thorough job of it. First, he robs a jewelry store, gets caught and is sentenced to prison. Then he teams up with gang-member Joey to make their escape. Once in the gang, Blake identifies the boss, Larry, and most of the other thieves, but not the "inside man." As a big fur job looms closer, the detective's task is complicated by the playful but seductive advances of Judy, a dazzling blonde who happens also to be the jealous Larry's girl friend. | |

Trending Position
"Blake" (Patrick Holt) is determined to go to extraordinary lengths to bring down a gang that are peddling stolen goods in London. He starts off by staging the robbery of a jeweller's. Of course he is swiftly apprehended, and whilst in prison befriends gang member "Joey" (Michael Balfour) and they c ... oncoct an escape plan together that will enable him to infiltrate the smugglers on the outside and identify their kingpin. Once out, he attracts the suspicions of henchman "Mack" (Michael Brennan - where on Earth did the accent come from?) but the support of the boss's savvy girlfriend "Joan" (Sonia Holm) before it all all comes to a head over some fur coats resulting in a rooftop chase... It's a bit on the procedural side, but the photography of post-war London is interesting and Dora Bryan adds little joie-de-vivre as only she could in these easy going, but largely forgettable B-features.
