He was born on August 1, 1964 in Plovdiv. After completing his secondary education at the art school for stage shots in Plovdiv, he continued his studies at VITIZ, majoring in film and animation direction in Donyo Donev's class. Together with Kamen Kalev, he is the author of the short films "Bring ... Back the Rabbit" and "The Bad Rabbit", which were nominated in the "Critic's Week" at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005 and 2007.
