Her work has also received awards such as Special Award Studio 5 de Mayo at the 11th Morelia International Film Festival 2014; the Best Film Award at the AluCine Latin Film + Media Arts Festival 2014 in Toronto, Canada; an Ariel nomination in 2011 by the Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences; the London Film Academy Scholarship at the International Film Festival Expresión en Corto 2010.
