Egyptian director born in Alexandria on 22 June 1938. He's a graduate of the faculty of Agriculture. His first work was the hit TV series Cairo and People (1972). He formed a duet with writer Osama Anwar Okasha and they worked together on many series such as My Dear Children, Thank You (1979), And t ... he Sea Said (1982), Abo El Ela El Beshri S1&2 (1985&96), The White Flag (1988), and The Foul Wind (1991), among many others. He's also directed several films such as Love in a Jail Cell (1983) and Nasser 56 (1996).
