Twenty years after their genocide, he was hired by the President of Rwanda to create a film to rebrand the country’s image to the rest of the world. Although not a hunter himself, Hawkins is credited for dramatically reforming the creative and story-telling standards of the hunting industry with the hit show, Heartland Bowhunter. Hawkins founded the production company, MAMMOTH, in 2010. RW2 represents his commercial work and FilmSupply represents his licensing. Beyond feature films and commercials, he creates documentaries, tourism and wildlife videos, TV shows and photography.
