Born in Tübingen, Germany, he earned a Master’s degree in Stage and Costume Design from the State Academy of Arts and Design in Stuttg ... art. Also, he studied history at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen. Fluent in German and English, with working knowledge of French, Jericho began his career in Germany, working on feature films, commercials, and television projects in roles ranging from set designer to concept artist. His early work included production design for Picco (2010), which gained acclaim at the Max-Ophüls-Film Festival and earned a Caméra d’Or nomination at Cannes. After moving into U.S. television, Jericho worked across acclaimed series, including Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014), The Knick (2014–2015), Master of None (2015–2021), Daredevil (2015–2018), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023), Crashing (2017–2019), Odd Mom Out (2015–2017), The Night Agent (2023–), and Étoile (upcoming). His artistry has been recognised extensively by the Art Directors Guild. He has won the Excellence in Production Design Award twice for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel—in 2019 for the episodes “Simone” and “We’re Going to the Catskills!” and in 2020 for “It’s Comedy or Cabbage” and episode 308—shared with collaborators including Bill Groom, Neil Prince, and Ellen Christiansen. His additional ADG nominations span multiple high-profile productions: in 2023 for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (“Maisel vs. Lennon: The Cut Contest” and episode 408), in 2018 for Master of None (“Le Nozze,” “Thanksgiving,” and “Amarsi Un Pò”), in 2016 for The Knick (“Ten Knots” and “The Best with the Best to Get the Best”), and in 2015, 2014, and 2013 for various episodes of Boardwalk Empire. He was also nominated in 2012 for Anonymous in the Period Film category, sharing recognition with Sebastian T. Krawinkel, Stephan O. Gessler, Stefan Speth, and Sabine Engelberg.
