Bruce Tetsuya is a Japanese-American filmmaker based in New York City. Bruce graduated with a BFA in Film Production, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Colorado Boulder, and has won several awards including Best Film at CU Boulder in 2016 & 2017. He received the Virgil Grillo Grant for his the ... sis film, Nightjar (2019), which will premiere at the Denver Film Festival in Fall of 2019. Bruce's work focuses on the intersection of history and identity, and on the beauty of memory, movement, and dance.
