Zaila is a born and raised native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is of Italian, Spanish, Irish and Welsh decent. She discovered a passion for acting at age 5 as an extra on a feature film set and began studying the craft at age 7, attending film and theater classes to add to her training. Now still e ... arly in her career she has been very successful doing student films and has landed lead and or supporting roles in each, frequently plays older characters because of her maturity.
