Tanya Stephan is a BAFTA and multi award-winning British documentary director and series director. She is best known for her feature length documentary "The Missing Children" (2021) which won the BAFTA Specialist Factual Award 2022 and the Royal Television Society TV Journalism Award for Best Docume ... ntary Current Affairs International 2022. Her films address major current affairs stories and challenging social issues though people's personal stories (Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum, 2020). She trained in Documentary Directing at the National Film & TV School in the UK, and went on to direct many prime time documentaries for British TV and international broadcast.
