Maddalena Crespi is an Italian director and screenwriter. Born in 1989 in Milan she moved to Scotland at a young age to finish high school and continue her university studies in Edinburgh, in 2011 she graduated with a BA in English Literature. The following year she moved back to Milan where she sta ... rted working as a writer in local publishing companies and newspapers. In 2013 she began her journey in movie production, working as a writer and producer for documentaries, features and shorts. In 2019, while working, she deepened her knowledge and passion for Nordic cinema with a course in Scandinavian Film Studies at the university of Copenhagen. In 2022 she wrote and directed her first short ‘Miranda’s Mind’. She’s currently working on her next project.
