Nishanth R. was born in Coimbatore, India, and raised in the nearby metropolis of Chennai. After attending a high school in Chennai (during which time he authored and published a novel, 'The Fated Sunset'), he went on to become an undergraduate studying Film & TV Production and Philosophy at Loyola ... Marymount University in Los Angeles. Now having graduated, he works for the independent production company Media RED. His feature directorial debut, 'Bharata', is in pre-production.
