Biography

Josh Blue is a stand-up comedian who rose to prominence after winning Last Comic Standing in 2006 and has since become a global headliner, performing more than 200 shows a year with a style built on sharp improvisation and constantly evolving material. He has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Ji ... mmy Fallon, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and has been featured across major networks including Fox, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, and CNN, while also earning recognition at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Blue has released multiple stand-up specials across platforms including Comedy Central, Showtime, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and Bravo, highlighted by Sticky Change and DELETE, and became the first comedian to debut a special in movie theaters nationwide with 7 More Days in the Tank. His work extends beyond stand-up into radio, podcasts, and music, including Josh Blue and the Hooligan Stew Review, often described as “Tom Waits meets the Muppets.” Known for breaking down stereotypes around disability with humor that is both unfiltered and self-aware, Blue has been widely described as a comedian who happens to have cerebral palsy rather than being defined by it. Outside of comedy, he represented the United States in eight countries as a member of the U.S. Paralympic soccer team, including the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, and lives in Denver, Colorado with his children.
