Lucio Pascual Gascón, widely known as "Tchê," was a Spanish-born engineer and mechanic who significantly influenced Brazilian motorsports. Emigrating to Brazil in the 1960s, he brought with him expertise in mechanics and a passion for racing. Their partnership was instrumental in Senna's development, contributing to numerous victories and titles. Senna once expressed profound gratitude to Tchê, stating, "You’re the one who taught almost all I know, who helped me and who was there for me in every single moment."
