| To escape from an unwanted marriage, Princess Sing Ping flees from the Palace and wanders into the squalid "Cheung Lok Fong" where she meets Kwok Oi. Kwok Oi is humourous and knowledgeable. Princess Sing Ping and Kwok Oi go through a lot of difficulties and eventually fall for each other. They get married and move back to the palace.
