**Three fantastic actors. One boring movie.** Z for Zachariah chronicles three people’s attempts to survive and find companionship in the isolated wilderness of a post-apocalyptic world. The movie revolves more around the initial distrust and growing relationship between the characters. Eventuall ... y, these developing bonds are threatened by the romantic feelings of each man for the only woman they have trusted for a very long time. The story slogs along from beginning to end, peppered with moments of hope as this tiny band of characters creates ways to improve their meager circumstances. Sadly the brief hopeful times are overshadowed by the mediocre character drama. Z for Zachariah wastes its incredible cast on a dull movie.
