This might have been a better occult thriller had the director had a few more quid to hire a better cast and a writer. As it is, however, he didn't and so we are left with the lacklustre Robert Alda as "Rick" - a man who has mysterious dreams of a lady. Serendipity takes an hand and guess what - he ... meets her! Thanks to a mysterious doll and some masonic-style meetings, he is soon enthralled by "Bianca" (Linda Christian) and his fiancée "Donna" (Ariadne Welter) finds her wellbeing at considerable risk. Can he snap out of things before he falls foul of "Francis" (Neil Hamilton) and his followers of "Gamba"? Even by B-feature standards, this is pretty procedural and dull to watch. The indoor and static staging limits what opportunity there is for menace and the ending wouldn't look out of place in a Laurel & Hardy comedy. I'd give this a miss if I were you.
