Trending Position
A lot better than I was expecting, but a lot worse than similar Bat-themed offerings of late (_The LEGO Batman Movie_ & _Return of the Caped Crusaders_). _Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._ ...
I prefer the Blue Falcon, you know, keep it HB... but I guess WB owns it all now. Anyway, it's neither here nor there. It does a good enough job of bringing back the old cringey 60s era Batman and still keeping it modernized enough to fit into the new Scooby-Doo movies so... you know... it's fun ... to watch. I think the focus is a little too much on the DC characters and not enough on the Scooby Gang... like they did with the WWE... but unlike the WWE Scooby-Doo, it's a little more tolerable for sheer ridiculousness alone and doesn't take itself as serious as the Wrestling guest stars. And, honestly, even the closing credits are mod enough to fit with the 60s throwback they were bucking for... so... like I said, it's fun. Fun enough for kids to like, and throwback enough for adults that have been watching Scooby for their entire lives.
