I suppose it was only a matter of time until somebody made an Escape Room horror movie. And that core concept, four friends locked in a single room with imminent danger and a literal ticking clock towards death, is actually pretty effective. But everything outside of that one small room, the framing ... device, the MacGuffin, the external surveillance, all of it, is pretty bad. _Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._
