Trending Position
This is definitely an interesting movie that plays with drama, empathy, and horror. The story plays out well as it makes the backstory of Mina, the undead girl, the main thread that goes through what happens in the present with the boy she encounter, named Alex. There are some decent effects i ... n this movie and the setting definitely give you that feeling of darkness between both characters. It doesn't get slow paced all that much or even losing of interest. It will give you that sense of something supernatural is linked to Mina and her struggle to get her humanity back that she might have to give up. It definitely give you the tones of abuse and loss of one's humanity. Even though it plays more to the empathy and drama than it does the horror, that shouldn't stop you from watching this movie if you have watched such movies that looks into the making of a person turned into a "monster" or urban legend.
