"Zach" (Joel Courtney) and his pal "Randy" (Calum Worthy) are the town geeks, a pair of well meaning young lads who along with their pal "Kayla" (Andi Matichak) decide to make a series of video diaries about their town. Gradually, though, they discover that the townsfolk around them are changing. Th ... ey hear screams, their normally sleepy town is distinctly out of sorts and it seem the local minister may be the fulcrum of this mystery. Despite the reservations of deputy "Haywood" (Cam Gigandet) they investigate, and are soon knee deep in... The two lads are adequate here, the story is thin - a sort of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" only they couldn't quite afford an invasion, so this is more of an encroachment. The rest of the zombie-style acting is not, though, restricted to those possessed. The whole thing is cheap, not very cheerful and the writing is just banal. For some reason those possessed have to get naked - not sure it adds anything, but it's probably the only talking point in this otherwise little better than schedule filler.
