Trending Position
This is lacking something... if only I can remember what it was... if only I could just put my finger on it I could maybe help fix it, help make the franchise better. It's just missing something, just a little... well... something... anything. Literally nothing happens for the bulk of the movi ... e accept bad action. It lacks the tension, or the satisfaction that comes with watching the people killed off one by one in your average slasher film. It lacks much of the gore, and it even lacks the T&A that can hold an audience's attention even if the slasher is sort of lame. And there is no reason for this. The slasher looks pretty cool. It's something that you can run with. Even the plot of a serial killer intentionally released for a sick reality TV show sort is a pretty good premise, albeit one that we have seen before, but one that still hasn't been realized to it's full potential. It had all the pieces it needed for something to happen... but it didn't do anything with any of it. The kill at the start made you think it was going to be a cheaper Friday the 13th... and it turned out to be... nothing. Really nothing happens for the bulk of the film. The plot isn't even advanced. Literally nothing happens.
