Seems like this could have made a really solid short film. As it stands, I wouldn't put you on the path to watching _Project Ithaca_. Eighty odd minutes might seem a short feature, but believe me, it's not short enough. There was a couple of things I did get into: The alien take on the _Monsters, In ... c_. premise, and the practical effects are those couple of things. But neither are done well enough or brought to fruition enough to elevate _Ithaca_ to the point of being worth your time. _Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._
