For a remake, it was actually not a bad ride. It still has potential still. The genre only needs the right vision of a story with promise. I will be watching again to look for all the little nuances missed in my first viewing. I really enjoy that it shows us the religious hypocrisy in ALL men of ... power, always seeking more and more, even if it meant using evil to attain it...
